Introduction
Apte Wachan Mandir Ichalkaranji is one of the oldest public libraries in Maharashtra . Incepted in 1870, it is gracefully nearing its post-centenary golden jubilee year. The library adjudged the best A class Taluka (Tehsil) Category Library in the State, has a long tradition of literary activities and has proved to be a great source of inspiration for the knowledge seeking reader community.
